She continued her study of piano with several different teachers, ultimately receiving her Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from the University of South Carolina in 1982, where she studied with Raymond Dudley. While at USC, Renée also sang with the Concert Choir. Currently, Renée serves as the pianist and choir director for Southside Baptist Church in Florence.
